1 yr Beatdown

13 men decided to start their day off right and joined in on some fun at Skywalker.  With perfect temperature and shovel flags planted, off we go!

Mosey to upper parking lot for:

• SSH x 12
• Merkin x 12
• Windmill x 12
• Cotton Picker x 12

Mosey down to the driving range for a 5 to 1 ladder.  Up the short (and steep) hill, climb over the fence, air squats at the top, hurdle the fence again and back down the hill for burpees at the bottom.

YHC instructs pax to line up on the street forming a roadblock facing toward Linksland Rd.  On go, complete 5 merkins and sprint to the intersection.  THIS IS A RACE!  At the finish, look for the man who finished closest to you and he will be your partner for the rest of the workout.

Mosey to the massive hills at hole #10.  Perform 1 set of exercises at the top of each hill and 1 set in the valley between the two.  15x Pat-a-Cake Merkins, 15 x Partner Throw Downs, 15 x Lunges.  Rinse and repeat until time is called.

AYG (which wasn’t much at this point) back to parking lot for a short mary.

1. I gotta say, I love those hills on #10 and was excited to head back over there.  TClaps to everyone for digging deep and tackling this workout.
2. Looking back one year ago, I never thought I would be standing in the middle of that circle leading a workout.  I’m thankful and humbled everyday for the impact this group has had on my life.  It has been an incredible journey getting to know you men 45 minutes at a time.  Weather you just started or you’ve been doing this longer than you can remember, I think we can all agree that there’s something special about what we do out there.  I know I am a better man for it.  Milestones like this come and go but the bonds we form in the gloom will always remain.  Iron Sharpens Iron.
3. Shout out to Col. Mustard for introducing me to F3 and helping me get to where I am today.  Although there were times that I hated you for it, I really am thankful for the EH brother!
