Small but Strong

All All MECA Backblasts

October 9th, 2015 By Glock

9 dedicated souls showed up for Friday’s beat down in Skybrook, ignoring the (false) rumor that the workout could begin with 100 burpees (a la Charmin). In reality only 60 burpees were imposed, though at two inopportune moments (25 to start, 15 to end the workout).

THE THANG:

Indian run toward park.

Stop at first cul de sac and do 25 burpees. Run to second cul de sac and do 20 WW2 situps. Run to basketball court, where do the following warmorama (we were already pretty warm at that point for the record):

10 burpees (I believe)

Do the following exercises the length of the basketball court:

3 sets. .

10 burpees (i believe this is the correct order)

Mosey to picnic shelter to do the following exercises 3X:

3 sets, then run back to golf clubhouse, where do the following:

Finish with 15 burpees

MOLESKIN

Way to push it men. I clearly bit off more than i could chew and you helped me get through it. Should be our last workout with temps in the 60’s; looks like 50’s and 40’s in our near future. This group is getting way strong and is about ready to give Highlands a run for their money. Thanks for the privilege of leading. And take encouragement from these words that my brother recently reminded me of in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Hope you are comforted and sense His peace and love during difficult times.
