Just Another Brick in the Wall

6 Faithful PAX joined YHC for a little ‘make it up as you go along’!  After an abbreviated disclaimer we were off!  Went something like this:

Mosey to the teacher lot for a little warmup:

– SSH x 15

– Windmills x 15

– Cotton Pickers x 15

– Prisoner squats x 15

– ISTs x 15

– Tempo Mericans (Q fav) x 10

Building walls – and tearing them down:

– Lining up our cinder blocks PAX take turns running a block to the other end of the parking lot to build a ‘wall’.  Remaining PAX stay behind to do exercises.  As a ‘reward’ for their contribution to wall building, returning PAX get to pick next exercise and lead. Exercises included but were not limited to: (which basically means I forgot what we did…)

– Mericans, Squats, Sumo Squats, LBCs, Scorpion Dry Docks, J-Los, Low Flutters, etc, etc,

– Once our fine wall was built….repeato to tear it down and build another one at our exercise spot.

– Many more exercises were performed.

Return blocks and mosey to picnic tables:

– 5 Dips, 10 Mericans, 15 Squats

– 5 Dips 10 Incline Mericans, 15 Squats

– 5 Dips, 10 Decline Mericans, 15 Squats

– 5 Dips, 10 Swerkin crunches (Swings), 15 squats

Mosey to playground:

– Peoples chair w/shoulder presses (it’s only air), right leg up, left leg up, Balls to the wall and pull ups.

Mosey to Ball Courts:

– 4 Line Suicides

Mosey to lot for People’s Mary:

The W, The Caitlin, Peek a boo, Homer to Marge, Low Flutter, Revers Crunch, out of time (sorry Timber)



Very thankful for the awesome weather we had and extremely thankful for being able to get out here and spend time with a great bunch of guys!

OK, now that we know everyone who posted today can call exercises (when out of breath!), who wants to Q?  Link for Q sign-up is HERE.  We’ll help by co-Qing if needed and make sure to get a Q school scheduled.  There are a lot of open spots.

On another note:  Timber, you may have a problem.  (just sayin’)

    Nice workout Sugar. I’ve been focusing on running and have definitely gotten weak in some areas. J-Lo’s were a challenge!

    Glad to give Whatley’s swerkins a try. I’m wondering if you could Q a whole TRX type of workout around swingsets.

    Sparknut has gone full on beast mode sporting the weight vest. I hope he wears it the next time I Q.

    Timber should meet a fellow Pax member Crop Duster. They share a common bond.

    Hate I missed it, but did make it out to Skywalker this morning as a make up. We are becoming the cinder block AO for sure!

    Sounds like a solid beatdown. I have been battling sickness or else I would have loved to be there.
