With a little help from my friends…..

13 Stoners gathered together for a jumbled mess of a workout that Kato threw together on the fly. We got by with a little help from my friends. After all was done, everyone worked hard and, hopefully, got a good workout.

Mosey to the parking lot.

Peoples Warmup:

  • Kato led a couple of forgettable warmup exercises and then transitioned to ~6 other PAX to lead individual exercises. I think we did:
    • SSH
    • Windmill
    • Cotton Pickers
    • Storm Troopers
    • Wacky Jacks (with optional Jazz hands)
    • Mericans
    • Some other stuff……

Team Relay:

  • PAX divided into groups of 3
    • Round 1:
      • First member ran lap around the parking deck
      • Second member performed jump rope single unders
      • Third member performed cinder block swing throughs
      • Once the First member completed the lap, positions were switched
      • Once 300 swing throughs were completed, the round was done
    • Round 2:
      • First member ran lap around the parking deck
      • Second member performed jump rope single unders
      • Third member performed cinder block swing presses
      • Once the First member completed the lap, positions were switched
      • Once 300 swing throughs were completed, the round was done

Peoples Mary:

  • Kato led some forgettable Mary exercises and then handed it over to PAX to lead. I think we did:
    • Mountain climbers
    • Box Cutters
    • LBC
    • Mericans
    • The W
    • Sumo Squats
    • Maybe some other stuff

Stretches:

  • The PAX was led through a lower body stretch progression. Everybody had an interesting and different interpretation when performing the demonstrated stretches #allgood.

Moleskin

  • YHC apologizes for the lack of motivation this morning. Ya’ll deserved better than that.
  • Great job by the PAX in helping to shoulder the Q responsibilities.
  • I’ve got to remember Foxy’s name. Foxy, Foxy, Foxy, Foxy….
  • Keep LawDawg and crew in your prayers has they head out to Haiti in early October.
  • Help BOS raise money for HeartLine ministries and……pick out his outfit for the Thunder Road marathon.

Nicely done @Kato. If this was a ‘non motivated @Kato’ work out, I’m not looking forward to the ‘motivated @Kato’ workout!
I actually like the Wacky Jack thing but next time can we please do it along the street after sunrise?! After seeing something like that, who wouldn’t want to join us!
We’ve been getting some really good numbers lately at Rolling Stone. Cold weather’s coming so break out the cold weather gear and lets keep it up through the winter!! #keepposting

@Kato, Thanks brother for allowing the PAX to participate. I really appreciate these kinds of workouts. It helps build unity amongst the brethren.
@Sugar I think we should name the wacky jacks in honor of you and your Jazz hands the “Jazzy Jacks” LOL. I cant even type that without laughing. Its been a great joy to post with you bros, and watch everyone get stronger. Thanks again Kato for a great workout!
