Little o dis and alot of dat

13 PAX posted on a fresh and slightly cool 52 degree morning at the Coketrain.

*WARM UP at the Train with buttkickers, high knees, soldier walks and cowboy walks.

*Mosey to the bank formerly known as Wachovia where more “warming up” occurred consisting of the following: 15 yoga merks, one-minute plank, 20 freddy merks (in cadance), 15 spider merks and 10 iron crosses and scorpions (each side).  After being adequately warmed (but for dolittle who still was shivering in the tundra-like weather), we performed THAT THANG: alternating wall jumps-to-burpees with a friend until the first partner-tandem reached a total of 80 reps to terminate this particular enjoyment endeavor (thanks to the Caesar-Exit tandem for making it to 80 first). Consequently, Exit and Cesar performed 40 burpees and 40 wall jumps each. Next, on the ground for a  30-second cobra stretch and…

*Mosey to City Parking Deck where we ran 2 full laps with use of the stairwell to descend
(without the customary humidity and heat, it was a refreshingly nasal delight to not inhale the secreted urine of our homeless denizens of downtown Concord while descending in the stairwell).

*Mosey to Carolina Courts where we performed 10 v-ups (or hands-to elbow planks alternative) before hoofing it up the stairs and performing more burpees (5) at the top of stairs. Jog back to bottom of stairs for more of the same to complete an oval loop. We got 3-4 loops done before Indi and Exit harassed me to end this fun adventure and return to Mary.  I need a sporty watch to wear myself as I personally don’t like MARY to exceed greater than a couple minutes. Thanks though brothers for wearing a watch.

*At MARY, we did 15 diamond merks and various stretching no one seemed to care for except your lower back, hip flexors, and glutes are surely better for it.

MOLESKIN:
Thanks for allowing me to lead and the PAX who showed up. Two PAX actually said, “good job” although it didn’t seem quite genuine (thanks though for at least feigning that you enjoyed my workout). Again, my apology for arriving at 0529, but the Brazilian cafe con leche I’d earlier sipped on at home caused me to detour for a sudden pit stop at my law office at approximately 0518 to drop my second load of the morning. Well, I’ll get back to defending our constitutional rights ‘less we wish to revert to being the colonized property of England. Make it a good day and I value greatly the brotherhood F3 provides me.

Don’t laugh because Rocky Balboa speaking to his son in Rocky VI is true and inspiring for real life:

“The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows.  It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it’ll beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.  But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.  How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now,… [you can’t] point fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, her or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you.”

PS: Remember that beginning this Saturday (09-19-15), start time goes back to 7amfor Saturdays. As of now, there’s a need for a Q to step up to lead this Saturday. BD, where you at Saturday AM? You are freeloading too much free exercise instruction.
