Fourteen PAX in a very hot and humid parking deck this morning…

WARM-UP:

  • Mosey to the parking deck
  • Run to the top of the deck, alternating between backpedals on every incline level and regular mosey on every flat level
  • COP, SSH x 25 (IC)
  • Cotton pickers x 15 (IC)
  • IST x 25 (IC)

THE THANG:

  • Partner up
  • One partner descends thru the southeast stairwell.  When he reaches the bottom, he runs back to the top – alternating backpedals and regular run on each level as before
  • Meanwhile the other partner remains at the top, doing 10 burpees then holding a plank until his partner reaches the top.  At this point they switch, with the second guy running down and back up while the first guy does burpees and plank
  • Repeat continuously for 15 minutes
  • COP at the top
  • Circle Suicides – while the PAX hold a plank in the center, two sets of partners run circle suicides around the top level (quarter loop and back, half loop and back, three quarter loop and back, full loop and back)
  • Alternate until everyone has a chance to run the suicide
  • Run back to the AO

MARY:

  • LBCs x 25 (IC)
  • Freddy Mercuries x 25 (IC, Custom Job audible)
  • Crunchy Frogs x 20 (IC, Ma Belle audible)
  • Burpees x 30 (Doolittle audible)
  • Brazilians x 20 (IC, Abogado audible)

MOLESKIN:

Really humid this morning, most I’ve sweated in weeks.  I think I’m about ready for the cooler weather to settle in.  Very active group this morning, we were able to fit a lot of work into 45 minutes (well, except for Backdraft who showed up twenty minutes late and left fifteen minutes early).

Yes, you read that correctly – we did 30 burpees during Mary.  I let the PAX pick our Mary exercises today with the intent that they might make ease things up a bit.  Needless to say that plan backfired – going forward, Doolittle has been officially and irrevocably banned from calling audibles at any point in any workout.
