Full Moon Trip Down The Greenway

12 Stoners followed YHC for a little down-painment on the Greenway. When I let the dog out before the workout and it felt like daytime, I knew we had to hit the Greenway. It went a little something like this:

1. Disclaimer and mosey down the Greenway just over the first bridge.

SSH x 15

Cotton Picker x 15

Windmill x 15

IST x 15

2. Mosey to the picnic table at the bottom of the hill.

Mountain Climbers x 10, Merkins x 10, Air Squats x 15 (all in cadence)

Split into two groups.

Group 1 picnic table dips x AMRAP

Group 2 runs back up the hill to the sign and back.

Switch

Group 1 Decline merkins x 20, while

Group 2 LBC x AMRAP (@Whatley got a little bit emotional while spending time with YHC under the stars)

Repeato from after the split

Carolina Dry Docks x 10 (in cadence)

3. Mosey down the flat part of the Greenway, give or take 200 yards.

Group 1 runs back to the picnic table while Group 2 does low flutter and low dolly AMRAP. Switch.

4. Lunge walk back towards the picnic shelter. Half way stop for air squats x 15. Mosey to picnic shelter.

Freddie Mercury x 5 forward x 5 backwards.

5. Mosey to the lower bridge. Incline merkins x 10.

6. Mosey to upper bridge. Decline merkins/shoulder press on top rail x 15 oyo. (I really liked this, it may make another appearance at a @lawdawg Q)

7. Mosey to top of the hill. Carolina dry docks x 10. Up to the sidewalk for monkey humpers x 15(@Sugar knows me a little too well as he called it right away when I said up to the sidewalk).

8. Up to the parking lot for Mary.

Pretzel crunch x 10 each side.

Single legged dead-lifts (a new @LawDawg favorite introduced/made famous by @Stretchy).

Iron cross. VT to @sparknut and @Sugar.

The Moleskin.

1. Loved the moon this morning. So cool to be working out with that much light before dawn. The perfect temp didn’t hurt either.

2. Strong work by @SwampThing after missing a few days last week. @Fratelli, man you are getting stronger. Love it. @Roundhouse awesome start to F3, love having you as part of the group.

3. Cheers all around for the return of @waterboy.

4. Prayer requests for @SwampThings grandfather-in-law; the family that @MarieCalendar mentioned, and @Google’s family for the passing of his Dad. Life is short, don’t neglect your spiritual life the way you neglected fitness before F3.

5. Come on out to 3×45 on Saturday morning. Off the books Beatdown, prayer time, and Bible study at Christian Brothers Automotive. Workout starts at 6:30.  See @Sparknut, @Hula, or YHC for more info.

6. I would love a co-pilot for the BRR. All you need to bring is some snacks, drinks, and food for the ride. @TheNanny has it all laid out for us and we just have to go from point a to point b like 36 times. Co-pilot would need to be available Thursday afternoon (Sept. 10) to show license at van rental. Then we leave Highland Creek Elementary at 5:45 Friday morning, back late Saturday.

7. Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones. (Proverbs 3:5-8, ESV)

Aye!
