Back at the track

8 men hit the track for some #Speed on the oval.

The Thang:

Warm-up jog to track (pick up @Stoli who is on #Stoli-time)

Warm-up 1/4 mile

1/4 mile fast to find your placing (count off when you finish 1, 2, 3,…8)

Team up to try to make teams equal (1/8, 2/7, 3/6, 4/5)

1 mile relay with each team member running 1/4 mile at a time

1/2 mile chase, where the higher seed guys get a 100 m head start

200 m relays x 4

100 m sprints x 3

Mosey back to COT with the #Stretch group


1. I got very excited when I pulled in parking lot and saw a few fresh faces for #Speed. What? not doing #Speed? Then why the heck are you here on a Friday?  Turns out someone finally stepped up (@Google) and started a #Stretch workout at Highlands.  #muchneeded

2. Wanted to get back to the track since I have my AF PT test in Sep and I need to practice for a 1.5 mile track run.

3. Does #Derby go anywhere without that weight vest?  #beast

4. Sorry the #BB is late. I’m pretty sure I am accurate with the Pax list, but I’ve been doing a lot of BRR/marathon training with #Highlanders recently and all these posts are kind of running together. #punintended
