humid marathon training

Four of us came together for a 6 or 7 mile run in what turned out to be a very humid morning. It went like this:

1. Right on Prosperity Church
2. Left on Katelyn Dr.
3. Right on Silvermere Way.
4. Left on Clarks Creek Greenway
5. Follow the greenway all the way to Mallard Creek Rd.

This is where YHC didn’t realize the greenway actually went under Mallard Creek Rd. So, we just kept going until we ended up at Governor Hunt Rd. It all worked out.

6. Mallard Creek up to Prosperity Church
7. Left on Prosperity Church

Six miles put us right in front of the church. Pharoah and Cinder Block continued on to make it a full 7.

– Thanks for a good run this morning guys. I enjoyed it.
– We didn’t do exactly what I planned, but it all worked out.
– I enjoyed the 2ndF Cinder Block. Made the first 4 miles go by really quickly.

I enjoyed the run today. Wouldn’t have been able to do that by myself.

    Same here!

Thanks to @Pharaoh for helping the time go by quickly! And thanks to @Jelly and @Cinderblock for picking times to wait on the 6!

Not a fan of that hill we stumbled upon to get to Govenor Hunt Road but non stop the whole way felt good!

Lol! You just have to go across the bridge and then out below the apartment complex to get into Mallard Creek. #rookies

Lol you can ask @Pharaoh I was questioning where we were going as soon as we hit the Montessori school!

Humid morning, the first 4 miles went fast. A little off the beaten path, but all is well that ends well. I wouldn’t mind running that route again next week since we’re doing 6. That was a good hill that got us back to Mallard Creek.

I’m thinking we could recreate that route again. It’s just that we will need to talk a lot more the last two miles to make it a little easier.
