Old Glory – Tradition & Precinct

29 (I think) men from Tradition and The Precinct converged for the monthly running of Old Glory. Here’s the rundown…

Start at Shovel Flag and run 1 mile loop. Then…

Station #1: 20 x ‘Mericans (front/right corner of Church)

Station #2: 20 x Jump Squats (back/right corner of Church)

Station #3: 10 x Pull-ups (Outback)

Station #4: 20 x WWII Sit-ups (near street)

Back to Shovel Flag  – That’s 1 round. Rinse & repeat Stations 1-4 as many times as you can (the loop is 0.4 miles). Regroup at 6am, then finish with another mile run, casual this time, front man carries Old Glory and six carries Tradition Flag.

The Moleskin:

As usual, below are the names (in alphabetical order) and number of complete laps plus additional stations completed around the AO (rounded down to nearest quarter lap). If there are “??” next to your name, you did not write down your total on the clipboard. If you were here the last 3 months, your previous round totals are posted as well. Write these down somewhere and plan to beat your own record next month! As with previous months, these are intentionally not listed in order of who “won” because this event is not a competition with one another, but rather a true “You vs You” opportunity to push your own limits. Whether you did 1 full round or 5, the point was to do YOUR best. Great job!

Lots of FNGs and newly named guys out there today! Welcome Moses and Fritz – hope to see you again! Congrats newly named King Louie, Reverend, Mufassa, and Landlord! Glad to have you guys out there! You came for the Fitness (1st F), but hopefully are already getting a great taste of the Fellowship (2nd F) and Faith (3rd F) that makes F3 truly great!

Always enjoy Old Glory, especially when you see almost 30 guys turn out for it. Awesome!

Welcome to King Louie, Reverend, Mufasa and Landlord, as well as two FNGs.

Great push by everyone this morning. Old Glory isn’t the easiest workout. It’s good to see so many new faces out there too. Keep coming out.

  4. Dingo

Great push out there men! Remember back when the bar was set at 4 rounds? Now guys are knocking out 5!

Some big improves that I noticed were Trail Mix, Prison Fruit and Blind Date!

I also finally got out of my rut and broke back into the 4’s! Feeling good today!

Thanks, Dingo. Tclaps to Gentle Griz as well…..big mover.

Did anyone else see Urlacher and Belding take off carrying the flag during the last mile? From my vantage point, that flag just kept getting smaller and smaller and smaller. Strong work. Maybe we should borrow Skipper’s weight vest and throw it on the two of them. Doing that would probably double Belding’s body weight.

Aye! I had a Goal going in and it was to get to 4 this morning! I think I made it by 5 seconds!! Feels great to be apart of this, F3, and starting to see some results like this each month. I still thought about Fartsacking this morning(sucks), but I sacrificed it, and got up and going instead, half asleep walking downstairs; thought about those same thoughts again as we started the first mile… and felt a great sense of pride come over me! Somewhat Accomplished I’d say; for taking on F3 each week and promising to myself to #getstronger #knockdownwalls #killthatsadclown Aye!
