The Teacher Becomes the Student

23 of Harrisburg’s (and 1 of Highlands’) finest came out this morning for Professor Klump’s virgin Q. In the process, everyone got stronger, and YHC learned a lot of things himself.

  1. Strong work by all. Thanks for the opportunity to lead a great group of men!
  2. Some lessons learned at the post and at Coffeeteria: A. Calling proper cadence while exercising takes practice (and extra air). B. Some exercises look much better on paper than on the field. C. Hootie’s talents of persuasion are wasted in his job. There are many used car lots and political offices that could benefit from his skills.
  3. Kotters to Hootie, Chaos, and Starsky. Great to see you all coming off the injured reserve (and Starsky at a post below 30 degrees).
  4. Great to see Cootie back for a second post. It’s cliché but true…the workouts don’t get any easier, but you do get stronger.
  5. Major thanks to Solo Cup for his help on my virgin Q, and Bull for taking us out on Mary.
  6. Ribshack and Riblet… sorry, but I didn’t catch the names for your guests. Please send names and contact info so we can get them on the list.

Great lead Klump. I am very proud of how far you’ve come. Can’t wait for your next post

  2. Gapper

Great VQ, Klump. That was a serious beat down. Glad I got some rest on those inverted airborn mind benders (aka planks).

And great job coming in from the bullpen, Solo Cup. I thought you made a great closer til someone (*cough* Hootie) got a little froggy & you went MacArthur on us. Good times.

  3. Hootie

Killer VQ Klump. Glad I was able to make it out and be a part of it…even if it somehow caused Gapper extra work.

I remember you first posting. To say you’ve come light years would an understatement. Keep it up…I’ll have you signing up for races at coffee before long as well. Not sure about the career advice though. Besides, aren’t politicians and used car salesmen one in the same?

  4. BBQ

Awesome VQ @Klump. You pushed us with each part of the workout. And you handled the @Hootie harassment with ease. Tclaps

@Chowder – good to have you this AM for both the #BullRun and beatdown. And glad someone else noticed @Bull not having proper form on the merkins. #justgottabe1st

  5. RibShack

Good stuff @Klump, thanks for leading! Thanks to @SoloCup for keeping it real toward the end with the Merkin/Plank combos.

  6. Casper

Very challenging 1st lead Klump. Kept us on our toes and challenged the entire time. And did not get that wet or head home with a case of hypothermia. Look forward to the next time!

  7. Deuce

Klump- I hate that I had to miss your first Q. It looks like a good one, although the first partner exercise involving testicles is concerning. I’m looking forward to not missing your future Q’s, of which I’m sure there will be many.
