I don’t think he’s coming

Two men waited patiently for the Road Warrior Q to arrive.  When it became apparent that he wasn’t going to show, one man stepped in to pick up the slack, YHC.

 The Thang

A nice slow run:

  • Start at Town Hall,
  • Straight down Main Street,
  • Right down Roberta,
  • Left up Rock River Crossing,
  • And back

The answer to the question in Banjo Boy’s pre-blast, about 4.25 miles.

COT/ Warrior One
  1. Sure it was cold this morning and I would have loved to stay in the Fartsack snuggling with the M, but my brothers hold me accountable to work harder (plus I had the Shovel Flag.) I guess it’s true, some men have Greatness thrust upon them.
  2. I really enjoyed the fellowship with Rib Shack this morning. He’s made amazing progress in a short amount of time.
  3. Look into Achilles tendinitis:  http://www.runnersworld.com/tag/achilles-tendinitis  and don’t forget to stretch regularly: http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/stretches-for-achilles-tendon-problem
  4. Let’s not forget the community outreach. Sole Redemption (BBQ) and the Food Pantry (Schedule C/ Solo Cup)

Ouch… That was deserved. A text at 6:24 from @Hootie woke me up. After a moment of panic, I realized that I wasn’t dreaming and it finally happened. I missed a Q. Every night I plug in my phone and set the alarm. For whatever reason, It didn’t work out that way last night. Every Q-eve I have the same nightmare… This one. It was bound to happen at some point. Statistics dictate it. I am just glad that @solocup was there to be “thrusted upon.” He is always ready for a thrusting. Thank you my friend.

All mumblechatter about thrusting aside it was a good run…..
@Solo Cup, thanks for the lead, convo and encouragement
@BanjoBoy, maybe let Dixie run the timepiece next time?
