It’s All About Form Today

The rain scared off a lot of the Pax today, but 6 hardened warriors battled through the storm in search of the perfect Kettlebell Swing!!  OK, there wasn’t a storm…..but there was 6 of us!

The idea today was to not focus on doing a certain number of reps.  We had a time period to do an exercise and focus on our form.

Warm up;

  2. 20 x SSH
  3. 15 x IST
  4. Arm Circles

The Thang;

Round 1

  1. Kettlebell Squat x 30sec
  2. Dead lift high pull x 30sec
  3. Kettle bell plank x 30sec

Round 2

  1. Kettle bell Squat x 45sec
  2. Dead lift high pull x 45 sec
  3. Kettle bell plank x 45 sec

Round 3

  1. Kettle bell Squat x 1min
  2. Dead lift high pull x 1min
  3. Kettle bell plank x 1min

Round 4

  1. Kettlebell swing x 30sec
  2. kettle bell 1 arm swing(right) x 30 sec
  3. kettle bell 1 arm swing(left) x 30 sec
  4. Kettle bell alternating swing x 30 sec
  5. kettle bell swing x 30sec

Round 5

  1. Kettlebell swing x 45sec
  2. kettle bell 1 arm swing(right) x 45sec
  3. kettle bell 1 arm swing(left) x 45sec
  4. Kettle bell alternating swing x 45sec
  5. kettle bell swing x 45sec

  1. I was hoping for a Major Pain Beatdown today, but the big cat is away so I tried to fill his shoes.
  2. Enjoyed the smaller group today, great opportunity to work on our form.
