The Murph – July Edition

12 Harrisburg men, including 1 ringer…uh, FNG, posted for this month’s edition of The Murph

Quick explanation of The Murph, then a token SSH warm-up before we launch:

1 Mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Merkins
300 Air Squats
1 Mile Run

COT – Banjo Boy takes us out

Moleskin
1. First and foremost, we remember Lt. Murphy and all those who have served, and continue to serve, our country, as well as their families.
2. Great mix of first timers and repeat offenders for The Murph. Strong work by all. Continue to post and you’ll see the improvement each time we run this.
3. Didn’t realize until the return mile that Coppertone brought a ringer – his 19 year old brother, who plays basketball for the Naval Academy. At least he (and SS Minnow) were kind enough to wait until we got through the dark trail to blow by the pax on the first mile.
4. Only a runner like Minnow would consider the Air Squats a “nice rest” especially after a very humid 5+ mile run yesterday afternoon.
5. Tclaps to the leaders who doubled back to pick up the six – Kendall, SSMinnow, Banjo Boy, Solo Cup (anyone else?).

Pace,
Gamma

Harrisburg Brothers: I realized this morning at the Highlands Murph that we always leave “Old Glory” behind when completing our mile runs. I picked her up for the last mile today and encourage each of you to bring her with you on the first and last mile. Pass her off during the run if needed. #Respect

@Gamma … nice lead-in to the Murph this morning … it’s always a tough non-stop workout … glad we had a good group of PAX to help push through it
